About Denver Murals

Most importantly, I am a wife and mother of two beautiful girls. I began this journey as a muralist with a desire to create magical, memorable rooms for each of my children. I wanted them to know they were special, unique and deserved a wonderful space to call their own. Thus, my first projects were born. As play friends and guests came to visit our home, my 3-year-old would proudly drag them up to her room and show off her space. “I live in a Castle... I’m Princess Devin...” she would exclaim. Friends began to ask if I could paint their children's' rooms and playrooms, and of course I obliged. What could be more fun and rewarding than creating fantastic rooms for kids!?

I received a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Psychology from Salisbury State University in Maryland and went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy at New York University. I worked as a therapist and counselor for 8 years before having children. It soon became more important for me to stay home with my children than to return to work full time. I have always enjoyed painting as an outlet and a means of expression and now I have found a way to incorporate what I love into a career that works for me. As a therapist, I enjoyed the interaction with people and the drive to improve their quality of life. As an artist, I value the opportunity for self-expression and to create unique works of art for each client.
